Refurbishment of small 19^th Century Church of Ireland schoolhouse with historical associations with the Clones Lace cottage industry. The project was preceded by a comprehensive condition report and conservation assessment. The project included re-roofing and gutter repairs ; repairs to stonework, mortar, windows and interior. The client’s brief required assistance in the preparation of grant applications from Monaghan County Council (DOEHLG Grant Scheme) and the Heritage Council (Buildings at Risk Scheme).
