Creche at Fr. Campion Place, Danesfort, Co. Kilkenny.

The purpose built creche, which caters for children ranging from babies to preschool children, is part of the award winning Campion Place development completed by the Danesfort Community. The creche has child-friendly underfloor heating to the play areas and it benefits from energy efficient heat recovery ventilation system.

The development also consists of a Parish Centre and six houses for the elderly located in the centre of Danesfort adjacent to the Parish Church and Primary School. An innovative district heating system serves the overall complex.

It was overall winner at the ICSH 2009 Community Housing Awards.
