Peter Bluett, Architect / Chartered Engineer, is a Graduate of DIT and Trinity College, Dublin. He has a Masters Degree in Fire Engineering from the University of Central Lancashire. He is President of the Institution of Fire Engineers (Irish Branch), 2011-2013.

Peter contributes regularly to the RIAI Journal Architecture on Fire Safety Design and related topics.

Internal Referrals:- Peter provides a service to Colleagues within the Office on Fire Safety Design matters.

Collaboration with other Firms and External Referrals from Colleagues:- Peter undertakes external referrals from Architects, Engineers, Surveyors and Client Bodies, an example includes :-

Rathdowney Outlet Centre; This 10,400sq.m. (108,000sq.ft.) development was initially carried out in collaboration with Holder Mathias Architects of London and Cardiff. A Fire Consultancy Service was provided whereby the Fire Safety Strategy was developed by Peter in collaboration with colleague architects at HMA. The application for the Fire Safety Certificate was drafted and submitted by Peter leading to a successful outcome. The construction stage was monitored and the Certification on completion was collated for conveyancing and Bank Security purposes. A later phase was similarly advanced with Lead Architects Opperman Associates on a similar basis.

Peter is currently advancing a number of Fire Safety programmes for the HSE in collaboration with in-house Engineering and Project Management teams.
