Peter Bluett, Architect / Chartered Engineer, is a Graduate of DIT and Trinity College, Dublin. He has a Masters Degree in Fire Engineering from the University of Central Lancashire.
He is current President of the Institution of Fire Engineers (Irish Branch), 2011-2013.
Peter contributes regularly to the RIAI Journal Architecture on Fire Safety Design and related topics and he is a visiting lecturer on fire engineering at DIT.
Peter's experience includes working in the areas of ;
- Schools, creches, third level educational facilities, schools for children / people with special needs.
- Retail and commercial premises.
- Healthcare facilities, hospitals.
- Reports and inspections in particular in relation to Fire Safety and Building Regulations.
Internal Referrals:- Peter provides a service to Colleagues within the Office on Fire Safety Design matters.
Collaboration with other Firms and External Referrals from Colleagues:- Peter undertakes external referrals from Architects, Engineers, Surveyors and Client Bodies.
