“Rosehill”, Maidenhill, Kilkenny

This residential estate for Castlelands Construction Limited was developed within the grounds of Rosehill, a large Victorian villa on the edge of Kilkenny.

The permitted scheme includes 24 apartments, 148 'own-door' houses in a wide range of unit types and a crèche.

The site was carefully designed, having regard to Rosehill, which is retained within the scheme, the fine specimen trees within the grounds and the amenity potential of the River Breagagh, which runs along the western boundary of the site.

Despite the constraints peculiar to this site, a very good plot ratio of development was achieved and construction of Phase 1 of the scheme has been completed.
